Happy Spring!
We are excited to offer a two day in-person couples workshop over the weekend of April 23rd and 24th.
Creating Connection is a therapist led workshop that helps couples of any age or stage of relationship understand how to nourish the connection they have and how to turn around negative patterns that may have developed over time.
The Workshop is based on the science of adult attachment and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). It is designed to be accessible, practical, and supportive. In EFT, we help couples learn how to deal with their emotions together, reach for each other in moments of needs, and be responsive to each other in ways that feel positive and loving. The tools you learn in this workshop will serve your relationship long after the weekend is complete.
Over the two days couples will be guided through key conversations that make up a love relationship using written materials and videos. During breakout sessions each couple will have an opportunity to privately put into practice what has been taught and ask questions. If desired, couples can receive support from the facilitators as they practice.
You will learn and experience how to:
- Affirm strengths in your relationship
- Address recurring and negative ways of interacting with each other
- Understand each other’s emotions better
- Recognize underlying reasons for your conflicts
- How to repair and forgive
- Enhance your emotional and physical closeness
- Improve communication
We are looking for couples to participate.
If you are willing to take 2 days together to explore building a deeper happier relationship and you can keep confidential what you hear from other couples doing the same thing, we’d love for you to join us!
We will meet from 10AM to 5PM Saturday and Sunday.
The cost is $650 per couple for those signed up by April 15th ($700 after).
