Katie Hanna, MA Doctoral Practicum Student

Katie is a third-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington, DC campus (TCSPP). She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults to help them overcome life’s obstacles. Katie works collaboratively with her clients to identify their natural strengths to foster growth and development. Katie uses a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches depending on her client’s needs. With her younger clients, she incorporates expressive arts which can include art, sand tray, and play therapy.

Katie completed training in neuropsychological assessment at Children’s National Hospital and has worked with children in educational settings. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wake Forest University and received her master’s degree in clinical psychology from TCSPP.
